Saadiyat Cultural District Abu Dhabi is a unique constellation of museums, cultural institutions, collections and public programming that celebrate the achievements of the United Arab Emirates, the region and the world.

Located on Saadiyat Island, Saadiyat Cultural District is a centre for innovation and creativity, research and knowledge and a place to encounter.​

Offering one of the highest concentrations of cultural experiences, Saadiyat Cultural District is home to Louvre Abu Dhabi, Berklee Abu Dhabi and Manarat Al Saadiyat, and the future home of Zayed National Museum, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, and teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi.

Zayed National Museum

The upcoming museum showcases the nation’s history, culture and social and economic transformation and celebrates the legacy of the country’s founder, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Designed by Foster + Partners, Zayed National Museum will welcome visitors to encounter an unparalleled collection ​of art and artefacts from ancient and living cultures of the UAE and the region.

Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi

Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi will take visitors on a 13.8-billion-year journey through the story of our universe and our planet, offering a view into the origins and complexity of life as we know it. Igniting a lifelong passion for the natural world, visitors will leave with a thought-provoking perspective into ​ a sustainable future for our planet, empowering a new generation of advocates to help shape the next chapter of Earth’s story.

Louvre Abu Dhabi

Since 2017, the museum’s innovative curatorial approach has shaped new perspectives on ​the global history of art. Telling stories of cultural connections, the museum displays artworks from different cultures side by side, showcasing human creativity that transcends civilisations, geographies, and times. In addition to its collections and exhibitions that span thousands of years, Louvre Abu Dhabi inspires new generations through educational and research programmes.

Guggenheim Abu Dhabi ​

Guggenheim Abu Dhabi is a museum for the now that aspires to connect cultures and inspire people by celebrating art from the 1960s to the present. Guggenheim Abu Dhabi fosters a deeper understanding of how different art perspectives have shaped the interconnected cultures and histories of our time. The museum will be a public forum for its communities, artists, curators and researchers, representing unique perspectives from around the world, amplifying the power of many imaginations and celebrating the diversity of human creativity.​

Manaraat Al Saadiyat

This longstanding cultural centre sits at the heart of the district. Since 2009, Manarat Al Saadiyat has served as an adaptable civic space that supports ​ Abu Dhabi’s cultural ecosystem by hosting communities events and a public engagement rogramme of workshops, exhibitions and innovative intiatives . It is home to two of the biggest events in Abu Dhabi’s cultural calendar – Abu Dhabi Art and Culture Summit Abu Dhabi. ​ ​

Berklee Abu Dhabi ​

The first Middle Eastern presence of the Berklee College of Music, Berklee Abu Dhabi ignites and inspires creative industry professionals poised to impact the growing and thriving cultural, educational and performing arts industries in the MENA region. Through sustainable and innovative educational experiences, the centre aims to build bridges between the Middle East and the Berklee ecosystem to support talent across diverse communities.

Abrahamic Family House

The Abrahamic Family House welcomes people to connect, explore and reflect. It serves to deepen understanding of our common humanity through mutual dialogue, exchange of knowledge and the practice of faith. The three Houses of Worship – Eminence Ahmed El-Tayeb Mosque, St. Francis Church, and Moses Ben Maimon Synagogue – offer the opportunity for worshippers to visit, participate in and learn about each religion.

teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi

Housed in a purpose-built, 17,000sqm structure, teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi will be an inspirational space of multi-sensory art installations, conceived by Tokyo-based art collective teamLab. Blending art with cutting-edge technology and science, visitors will embark on an immersive journey through teamLab’s new concept of environmental phenomena, encountering artworks that change in response to their environment, just like life itself. ​
